ACCESSORIES FOR THE AFRICAN SAFARI VEHICLE
 Africa is blessed with an enormous amount of natural wildlife, and this has led to a burgeoning of high quality game parks around the continent.
In order to transport the ever-increasing volume of tourists coming to visit these game parks from far-flung corners of the planet, a method of transportation has been devised which is particular to the average African Safari experience.
These vehicles are usually modified trucks, or ex military vehicles, which are kitted out with a varying amount of facilities – depending upon the Game park and just how close to ‘nature’, the experience will be!
At Plan My Power we have been involved in modifying many of the vehicles over the years, to suit the clients’ individual requirements with regard to ‘Power-on-the-move’.
Included in our SAFARI product line-up are:
- The PowerTek vehicle-mounted Generators ranging from 3-6KW of Sinewave power. These practical units are quiet and easy to install, requiring minimal space and help to power such luxuries as Air Conditioners, Hot water Urns for Coffee and Tea; coolers; refrigerators; freezers; Sandwich makers; Toasters; etc.
- Inverters and deep cycle battery combinations for supplying power when stationary, with power ranging from 1-5KW. Packages are also available for Bush Rondavels and Lodges.
- Solar Panels for charging up batteries whilst stationary in the Bush.

Maxamp alternators coupled with the MXS Booster regulator
for rapid charging of auxiliary batteries whilst on Game Drives.

High amperage Mains chargers for charging up batteries, cooler boxes and Fridge/Freezers overnight between Game Drives
- Energy-saving appliances such as LED spotlights, vehicle lights, 12V lighting for the individual Bush rondavels and main Lodges. Energy-saving fridges and cooler boxes can also be purchased from PMP as part of any package.
- The Unipower Generator/welder/charger for use by the maintenance vehicles supporting the Safari vehicle fleet. The unit is also useful for emergency power, fixing fences, construction of building famework and hides, boost charging and assist-starting other vehicles’ batteries in the park and a host of other everyday appliactions.
